Larry D. Price, D.O.

Larry Price, MD

A talented cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Price first pursued a career as an interventional cardiologist and critical medicine specialist. He was drawn to electrophysiology during a critical care fellowship at Mayo Clinic, and focused the remainder of his training, and his entire practice, on cardiac electrophysiology.

In 1987, following post-graduate training, Dr. Price joined the senior staff at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He served as Chief of the Section of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology, Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab and Director of the Pacemaker Clinic for 18 years.

In 1997, former Governor George W. Bush appointed Dr. Price to the Texas Medical Board. In 2003, Governor Rick Perry reappointed him to the post, and Dr. Price currently serves as the board’s vice president.
