Robert C. Canby, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Robert Canby, MD

Dr. Canby’s career is marked by diversity, spanning a continuum from teaching to patient care, to advising medical device manufacturers on how to develop improved pacemakers and defibrillators, to guiding physicians in the Cayman Islands on providing cardiology care.

In addition to his work with patients, Dr. Canby is dedicated to educating future physicians at UT Southwestern Medical Center Affiliated Hospitals, the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s School of Medicine and at Texas Tech University Health Science Center.

He is a former Acting Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at the Dallas VA Medical Center and currently serves as President of the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Research Foundation.
