Carlos Monreal, RCES
Electrophysiology
Supervisor of Electrophysiology Labs
Carlos began working in electrophysiology in 2005, and started his career at St. David’s Medical Hospital in the electrophysiology lab in October 2007. He’s worked as a scrub tech, lead tech and now serves as one of two EP lab supervisors. Carlos checks in with patients as many as three times a day to receive feedback and also show them they are valued at St. David’s. He particularly enjoys that working in the EP lab over 12 years means using the newest technology and witnessing pioneer studies with many cases.
Matthew Dare, CEPS
Electrophysiology
Research and Technology Coordinator, Electrophysiology Services
Matt has more than a decade of electrophysiology experience and a background in biomedical engineering, EMS, and cardiovascular imaging. At Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute, Matt provides in-house technical support, advanced clinical support, and planning for new systems, procedures, training and educational programs. He also manages and operates the International Training Center, which has the capability to transmit live procedures around the world. Matt particularly enjoys working in an environment that is committed to being among the first to implement new technology.
