Learning. Teaching. Leading.
In addition to treating patients with heart rhythm disorders, the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute is fully dedicated to advancing the standard of care available to patients worldwide through research and training.
Led by Dr. Andrea Natale, TCAI’s research team leads and is involved in many clinical cardiac and sophisticated electrophysiology studies, as well as data analysis and statistical modeling. The Institute’s participation in a wide variety of clinical trials means our patients gain access to emerging advances well before what might otherwise be possible.
At the same time, physicians come from across the country and around the world to the Institute’s Cardiac Training Lab, where they can work with the latest technologies and train in the newest electrophysiology techniques. The lab—the first of its kind in the U.S.—makes it possible for physicians to observe procedures both on site and remotely, interacting with surgeons and researchers in real time, as they deal with complex and challenging arrhythmia cases.
